Want to volunteer as an event first aider?
Then all the information you need is right here on this page! For a minimum commitment of 60 hours per year, we'll provide you with full training, uniform and loads of local and national event opportunities.
Not for you? If you would prefer to volunteer as a youth leader, fundraiser or support member, then head over to our designated page for non-clinical roles.
There are four steps to becoming an event first aider with St John Ambulance and our committee are here to support you every step of the way!
Register your interest and we'll send you a link to the online form in early October. You'll also apply for a DBS check online.
Applicants will be shortlisted then invited to a selection day.
Our selection day takes place on Sunday 27th October 2019. At the selection day you'll have a short interview, ID document checks, photograph and uniform sizing taken as well as completing four minutes of CPR.
You pick up your uniform and head out on events! You'll be assigned a point of contact to help you settle in. You'll still attend our weekly sessions to keep learning and maintain your skills.
